Multiple Health Challenges

Dear Dr Gardner,
The most recent diagnostic told that i had thoracic outlet syndrome and fibromyalgia.

Before this thru a course of 1 year have been diagnosed with carpel tunnel syndrome, Tendonitis, and so on.

I have water retention and have gained 16kg in 3 months. I am at 76kg a wait i have never been in my life. am always around 57-65kg.

i have had severe pain on my left hand and aching and heavy feelings on my left arm til the shoulder joint.

I have done all the possible bloodtest over 25 of them.
The only thing it showed was that my ESR value was between 55-65 each time i took a reading.

What do you think is going on with me?

Pls help.

There are only so many things you can do on your own.  These include

  • cleaning up the diet,
  • paying careful attention to sleep needs,
  • movement,
  • reducing toxin exposures,
  • thinking healthy thoughts and
  • reducing or managing stress.

When these are in place (especially fixing the diet), most people have clear and consistent improvement in their health.  When those things are insufficient, then a physician is needed to look at other lab and have other options for care.

Most of the symptoms you describe are best handled within the realm of alternative medicine.  Some possible sources of these kind of complaints include:

  • toxic metals or chemicals in the body and brain (especially mercury from amalgam fillings),
  • viruses that the body has difficulty getting rid of (C. pneumonia, Mycoplasma),
  • long-term stress,
  • hormonal disruptions (thyroid, adrenal fatigue),
  • immunologic breakdown or
  • sensitivity to viruses or vaccinations.
  • Neck trauma may cause fibromyalgia.

Some other things to try if you have not tried them yet:  Try a therapeutic massage therapist to help with thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendonitis, as many of those problems are caused by tight muscles pulling on joints and at the insertion site of the tendon connected to those tight muscles.

The Greatest Health Discovery in a Century

I would like to share with you what I believe to be the greatest health discovery in a century.  The more I learn about what this does, the more convinced I am that the science and effects on our health are truly transformational.  Fact: 500% increase in antioxidant efficiency.  Fact: 12% increase in ventilatory threshold.  Athletes are singing its praises.  It has to do with our cells’ efficiency in function and communication.  I have personally seen it work wonders.

May I tell you about it?  Either write to me at or visit this website and leave your contact information (name, email and phone number).  I will make sure to personally answer your questions, to see how I may best serve you.

Here’s the site again:

Please, don’t miss this opportunity to help a loved one, or yourself, to obtain its health benefits. At least it is worth learning about, and getting your questions answered.

With love,

If You Are Skeptical, I Relate…

Dear Healthy Thinkers,

Below the posts that I have shared the last few days are some of your comments.  I understand them.  I relate to them.  In fact, just a few short months ago I was right in there with you, skeptical, bombarded by every “opportunity” that comes along.  I have seen them all.  Most of them are good products, but I shrank from doing MLM.  That has changed, and I will explain why.  But it takes a bit of background information, so you have to decide if you’re willing to take time to read and understand it.

If you are open to explanation, I will share what I believe to be incredible information. (click on the link and click “watch product video.”)

If you are not open to my explanation, I wish you health and wellness and joy in your journey.

But knowing what I know about the body and about this technology, I cannot in integrity remain silent about what it can do for you.

Let me start with this:

The scientists who developed the messenger molecules of ASEA spent millions of dollars creating a stable fluid that would remain in its active state.  Their first tries yielded molecules that would only remain stable for 10 minutes after formulation.  Discouraged and out of funds, they folded.  The founder of ASEA, Verdis Norton, a former Kraft executive who had retired and was serving on the board of the scientists trying to create stabilized product, poured millions of dollars of his own money into the research to keep the technology under development.  Over a long period of time, his team was able to create a stable formula.

Mr. Norton gave the product to several dozen people to try and see how it affected their health.  Every one of them experienced such profound benefits that, unbeknownst to him, they began sharing the product with friends and family that they knew also had health challenges, so that by the time Verdis checked on the effects of ASEA (which at that time had no name), there were several hundred people using the amazing messenger molecules.

Here’s where it gets interesting:  A pharmaceutical company came to Mr. Norton and offered him a LOT of money to purchase his patents (ASEA has 31 patents) and buy his company.  As they were getting ready to sign the deal, the pharma reps said, “oh and by the way, we need you to take all of the people who are using the liquid off of the product and return all the bottles to us.”  When Mr. Norton asked why, the big pharma company replied that they would take the product OFF the market so that no one could access it.  They would not even allow those who were experiencing such profound benefits to continue using the product.  And they were determined to keep the technology under wraps, so that no one else could benefit, either.

So, you can draw your own conclusions–but it was obvious that their intention was not to make the molecules available.

Verdis Norton and his team decided that, in order to make sure everyone could access the molecules, they had to find a way of distribution that would allow people to try it, offer it to people they knew who would benefit from it, and allow people to share what it did for them with others.  Although they had never done network marketing, they explored their options and found that it was a vehicle that met their criteria, without putting anyone in danger of not being able to access the amazing molecules.

They added some benefits and features that are not common in most network marketing companies:

  1. an empty bottle, MONEY back guarantee on the products
  2. the ability to purchase at a distributor cost, just as a preferred customer (without signing up to sell it)
  3. no pressure to sell, no hype

I have purchased ASEA and am making it available in my office.  There is no need, ever, for you to sign up and distribute the products.  There is no need to second guess what it will do for you.  You can try it at no risk.  I have tried it with several patients for several months before deciding to introduce it on this website and in my office.

I have seen it help: severe acne, eliminate age spots and suspicious skin spots, minimize pain, noted its help with stomach (gastrointestinal) conditions, noted that it has no side effects and so there is no allergic reaction to it (the body sees it as its own fluid).  It seems to help EVERYTHING on a cellular level.

How can I not make this available to the patients and readers I care about?

Over the years, I have tried to the best of my ability to share with you what I know and what I have learned about healthy alternatives to drugs and surgery.  I have sought to maintain integrity in all of my dealings with you.  When I could not find supplements available that were the quality I felt people need, I contracted with labs to create my designated product.  When I find healthy alternatives, I try to make them available to you.

In the case of ASEA, I realize that making these claims can affect my reputation for either good or bad.  But I have researched the product, I have met the founder, I have studied the science.  And in good conscience, I must make it available to you.

Please, if you know someone else who you can buy it from and would like to go that route, do so.  Just watch the video, and then evaluate if this is something you are willing to try, and then go from there.

One last thought: if you saw a product sitting on the shelf at WalMart, and it said, “Ingredients: Salt and Water,” would you buy it?  Would you know what to do with it?  The patented process that turns salt and water into these messenger molecules needs to be explained in ways that cannot be shared by your local WalMart employee.

I rest my case 🙂

How to Make 2011 Your Healthiest Year Ever

If you have in your possession your most recent list of resolutions for the New Year, and it’s pretty much a repeat of all the years prior to this one, this message is for you.  It’s time to really, truly make some significant changes, and we’re going to share with you some time-proven secrets so that you can literally make this your healthiest year ever.  What’s more, you’ll be able to apply these principles to other aspects of your life besides your health.

1.  Imagine

First of all, you need to use your imagination.

Imagination is the tool that allows us to utilize our divine ability to create.  All that you see around you is the result of imagination.  When we imagine something, we envision a result; we make the vision of what we hope for a part of us.

So let’s start with our vision: we can do that by imagining “what if,” and by allowing ourselves to be creative with our possibilities.  What if I had more energy than ever before?  What if I ran a 5K (or walked one)?  What if I could lift my children up in the air?  What if I could walk through the grocery store instead of needing an electric cart?  What if I were 50 pounds lighter?  What if I could fit into that gorgeous dress that’s been sitting in my closet?  What if I could cook gourmet healthy meals that my whole family or circle of friends enjoys?  What if I could sleep peacefully throughout the night?  What if I could breathe freely and easily?

What if?

It’s a great way (and a fun, safe way) to explore possibilities.

2.  Hope

Second, let your imagination take you to hope.

Hope is one member of the trio of divine qualities of faith, hope, and charity.  Hope allows you to set your intention; it allows you to explore a worthy goal that you desire.  If we hope for something, we are seeking to understand if that desired goal is right for us.  We will receive what we ask for, or something better Hope allows us to have that trust that we can accomplish the desired goal, or something better.

3.  Check Yourself

Now check how you feel as you contemplate and pray regarding that goal.  If it causes great fear, it may be the wrong goal, or you may need to accomplish an intermediate goal before seeking that one.  You may be trying to leap up the whole staircase instead of taking one step at a time.  Try to identify the end result as well as intermediate steps to get you there.  Then go to the next step.

Do not take action if:

  1. your goal is based on fear (as in a panic state)
  2. you feel obligated, that you have to select that goal
  3. you are choosing to do it simply because it’s the kind of thing you’re good at
  4. Wisdom

Use wisdom to help you evaluate your “what ifs.”  You can continue to use your imagination to play out various scenarios and determine the results that will come as you make various choices.  If your wisdom leads you to faith that you could do the goal, and it feels good to you, you may be onto something.

5. Action

Prayerfully schedule actions that will take you to your desired result.  For example, if a 5K fulfills all the previously mentioned criteria, schedule actions that will take you there.  Start with scheduling a place to walk.  Consider getting a pedometer.  Explore the possibility of walking with friends, or of using that time to ponder and pray while you walk.  Schedule a gradually increasing length for walking: go from a few steps to a few hundred steps, to a quarter mile, to a half mile, and so on.  Your body will relish the way it feels as you follow through with your commitment.

    6. “If, then” Rewards

      Set rewards for yourself.

if you do one thing, then you are promised a result.  This is a vital part of accomplishment.  If you faithfully fulfill your criteria for a week, for example, you might plan a relaxing bubble bath, or check a good book or movie out at the library, or invite some friends over for a healthy meal together.  Set the rewards before taking action, and the thought of the reward will provide additional incentive to help you accomplish your goal.

      7. Face the Uncertainty

Worthy goals always cause a bit of trepidation, so once you know this is the course you want to take, face that fear and move forward.

        8. Continue the Inspiration

Continue to feed your mind and your spirit with positive inspiration.  This gets you in the flow of things and generates enthusiasm (which comes from the root: en theos, or God within).  Honor your promises to yourself.

          9.  Get Support

Get support, from without or within doesn’t really matter.  Just enlist the aid of those who love and care for you.

          10.  Acknowledge Your Triumphs with Gratitude

Acknowledge your triumphs and be grateful.  You are systematically changing your life for the better.

Then repeat the process with a new category or a new step forward.

Recognize that there will be snags; there will be disappointments.  But you have a plan, and you have a way to achieve that plan or something better that life has in store for you.

Have fun in creating the Healthiest Year Ever in 2011!

Revealing Your Christmas Present (A Little Early)

          Dear Healthy Thinkers,

Remember how yesterday I told you about my son Josh who couldn’t sleep, he was so excited about an idea he had?

We were sitting at the table right after Thanksgiving, and he launched into this great (and scary) idea of a gift for you that would help you to become healthier and more energetic.

Well, this morning, I have the same issue going on.  I can’t sleep.  Too excited.  Only this time I’m sharing his crazy, unprecedented gift idea with you, instead of giving you weeks of background info before I announce it.

After I share it with you, we have a little over a week of time to accomplish the nearly impossible.

          Why am I doing this?

Because this gift offer has three purposes, and I need and trust you as my readers to be involved in those purposes with me.

Here are my three purposes: Continue reading Revealing Your Christmas Present (A Little Early)

Sugar: What’s in it and What it Does (+ Survey)

          Sugar Shock
In 1976, the sugar industry discovered it was cheaper to make sugar from corn than from beets or cane.  Since then, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) has replaced sucrose as a sweetener in most soft drinks, baked goods, and processed foods.  Among other consequences, fructose has been implicated in Continue reading Sugar: What’s in it and What it Does (+ Survey)
